Concession Rate Virtual Intake Session 60-90 minutes

Thank you for progressing to your intake session. I really look forward to this initial session with you, and I am grateful that you have chosen me to support you in your journey. 

Please find further details and some terms that describe more about what this initial session will include. Feel free to ask further questions if you like; this is your support your way, and it is truly important to me that my onboarding process is as easy and clear as possible for you.

A.   What does intake involve?

Intake is an initial session, where we meet and I learn more about your situation, your personal and health history, the supports that you have previously accessed and how impactful they were. All of this information is discussed with warmth, tact, and without pressure or expectation to overshare; your wellbeing is the absolute priority.

Intake is also an ideal opportunity for you to learn more about me, and how I work. I will bring evidence of my credentials and my checks to this meeting. During intake you will also learn more about the terms and conditions in which my services are provided to you.

B.   What happens after intake?

1.   You have the opportunity to ask further questions, and we will have the choice to proceed to booking sessions.

2.   Within 72 hours of intake, as long as we are happy to proceed, I will email you a service agreement. This will detail your goals for the provision of service (as you have shared and we have agreed), the services that will be provided by me, service booking and practical terms and conditions.

3.   Once the service agreement is signed, you will then be able to reserve your preferred timeslot by booking and paying for sessions. Sessions are paid for by you (or whoever funds your appointments) when the session timeslot is reserved via the Stripe online card booking system on my website.

C.   Is intake confidential?

Great question. The things we discuss are confidential, unless I have your written permission to share information with other agencies or individuals, or unless what is disclosed suggests endangerment and/or risk to life. This will be further discussed during intake. Hopefully it is understandable and appreciated, that I have a duty of care where risk to life is disclosed to me. However, should you have any queries around this at this stage, then please feel free to contact me by email, WhatsApp, or phone-call and I will be more than happy to respond.

D.  Are there any other terms or conditions for an intake booking?

·   Concession rate eligibility: Concession rate eligibility includes full-time students, Australian healthcare and Centrelink card holders, and other individuals for whom finance would otherwise be a significant barrier to ongoing therapy access; as discussed and agreed during your intake session. 

·   Rescheduling and cancellations: I reserve dedicated time for you in my calendar when I book sessions. For this reason, once paid for sessions are non-refundable, however sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice by emailing inquiries@wetackletrauma.com or by texting 0402521056 at no charge. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice unfortunately will not be refunded or rescheduled without an additional session fee.

·   Practitioner cancellations: I take care to ensure that I can attend sessions booked. On the extremely rare occasion that I should need to cancel, then as much notice as possible will be provided by both email and telephone call. You will then have the option to receive a refund for the session, or to reschedule the session for an alternative date and time; as agreed with you.

·   Recording: To ensure the wellbeing and safety of all involved recording, videoing, screenshotting, photography, or other data capture methods (in any format whether digital or analogue) is not allowed during sessions, meetings, calls or intakes; unless explicitly agreed with direct verbal confirmation by all individuals within such an interaction. A breech of this condition may result in a termination of service without refund. This is to ensure everyone’s safety.

·    Attendees: With the exception of babies in arms, only individuals priorly disclosed to me as attending meeting sessions should be in attendance during out meeting time. Please ask me if you are unsure, thank you.

·    Privacy and driving: Please ensure that you have a private space for sessions that is free of distractions, and that you are not driving; this is just for safety and wellbeing reasons.
